Welcome to the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) Local 610 – the Graduate Teaching Assistant and Postdoctoral Associate Union at Western University. PSAC Local 610 represents more than 2,000 members through collective bargaining and assistance with workplace complaints. These documents are now part of the collective agreement. The joint working group set up to review Aboriginal faculty members recommended a review of the collective agreement, which is reflected in the language of the letter of understanding from aboriginal faculty members. On 11 August 2020, the Union and the administration adopted the Bill S. PSAC represents university postdoctoral fellows who work in the field of research and are university staff. The LDC represents full-time employees who work permanently in leadership and career roles at the university. The University of Western Ontario Faculty Association represents full-time university professors (excluding clinical medicine) and part-time faculties with tasks that teach at least 0.5 degrees of credit courses in each of the last 3 fiscal years. Units with one or more Aboriginal fellows must review their EPA procedures and criteria for the current EPA cycle within three months (before 11 November 2020) to ensure compliance with the complementary language in clauses 5.1 and 5.2.
